    W. R. Basham on CBS News “Face the Nation”

    Command Consulting Group Names Two New Partners; Plans To Open Office In Dallas, Texas

    Mo McGowan and Michael Restovich Join Command Consulting Group as Partners

    WASHINGTON, DC - International security advisory firm Command Consulting Group announced today that it has named two internationally recognized security experts and private sector corporate executives, Morris “Mo” McGowan and Michael Restovich, as full-time partners of the firm. Mr. Restovich and Mr. McGowan will be based in the Command Consulting Group’s new Dallas area office.

    Mr. Restovich is 22 year veteran of the United States Secret Service and served as Assistant Administrator for Security Operations and Assistant Administrator for Policy at the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), where he oversaw the agency’s security and policy responsibilities at 450 airports across the United States. Mr. Restovich also served as the Department of Homeland Security Attaché at the U.S. Embassy in London.

    Mr. McGowan also served as Assistant Administrator for Security Operations at TSA, and in several other key roles at headquarters and in the field, to include in charge of security operations at Dallas Love Field. He is 25 year veteran of the Richardson, Texas police department.

    Mo McGowan Featured in New York Times

    On March 28, Mo McGowan, a CCG principal, was quoted in a New York Times article covering the JetBlue incident. As a security expert, Mr. McGowan shared his insight into whether anything can be done to prevent similar incidents from happening in the future.

    Subduing and calming passengers is part of the crew’s training, but now they have to worry about one of their own as well...Once the plane is in the air, there are only just a few security layers in place — and that’s the pilot, the crew and the passengers.
