Steve Atkiss

A Command Consulting Group founding partner, Steve Atkiss spearheads Command’s firm-wide business development and strategy efforts. Before helping found Command, Mr. Atkiss served as Chief of Staff at US Customs and Border Protection, where he was responsible for coordinating the agency’s interactions with the White House, the Department of Homeland Security, state and local governments, and the press. He is noted for managing the team that assessed Customs and Border Protection’s intelligence capabilities and made recommendations that led to the creation of the Office of Intelligence and Operations Coordination.  Previously, Mr. Atkiss served as Special Assistant to the President for Operations and as Deputy Director of Advance at the White House.
