D. Brian Peterman

Admiral Brian Peterman (Ret.) is a recognized leader in the fields of maritime safety and security, border and port security, maritime domain awareness, and emergency management. In the United States Coast Guard, Admiral Peterman served as Commander, Atlantic Area, where he oversaw all US Coast Guard operations from the Rocky Mountains to the Arabian Gulf. Admiral Peterman also possesses broad homeland and national security policy experience from serving in high level positions in the White House, as Director of the Defense Policy and Arms Control Directorate at the National Security Council and as Director of Border and Transportation Security at the Homeland Security Council.
